In groups of five, we were tasked to research on a compare two residential complexes in different countries--8 House in Copenhagen, Denmark and Pearl Bank Apartments in Outram Park, Singapore. This project acted as a precursor to our main project for the year.

 

In our presentation boards, we compared environmental, spatial, unit and material differences between the two projects, exploring what makes them unique and regionally critical in their respective countries.

 

We were also tasked to conduct research on the history of our project site, and present our findings as a site model and draw inspiration from the existing architecture.
