In our groups, we were tasked to research on active sustainable building systems and initiatives currently in the market, as well as those currently being developed. My group chose to focus on two types of photovoltaic systems: Bio-photovoltaic system (developed) and transparent photovoltaic system (in development)

 

We had to include the system into our simulated main project and describe its schematics, including diagrams, 3D renders and descriptions into our board, with cost factors as well. By researching on the advantages and disadvantages of each system, we were able to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the system and decide if it would be a realistic, viable option to use in our "Housing of the Future" simulated project.
